Adding Energy to Your Products

Whether you think the current times are now filled with opportunities or riddled with challenges, it is not a time to sit and mope. It is a time for action. In Feng Shui we know if you take care and support your environment it will support you.

Add energy to your work space by caring for the space itself. Get out the dust rag and the vacuum and give it a thorough cleaning. Dust off shelves, clear off desks, file, toss and straighten.

Then go into your store or warehouse and stand in the center for a moment and ask yourself if you are giving up. Ask yourself if you are letting this dream die. If not, then go to the door and in one breath exhale all the negative energy out of your body and out of your business.

Return to the center and stand tall. Admit to yourself that there are a lot of marketing opportunities, free marketing opportunities, that you have neglected to do. Take three deep breaths and inhale new energy. Feel energy rise up from the earth and down from heaven until it fills you.

Choose an item at random from your store or warehouse. Take this item to your desk and sit down with a pad of paper and for the next ten minutes write down five ideas on how you could deliver this item to a new market, whether it is to a single customer or a large chain store. Over the next 24 hours allow five more ideas to come to you.

Now each day for the next ten days set one of these ideas in motion, even if it is just a catalog sent, a phone call made, even if it is just a prayer for more guidance on implementing that marketing idea.

At the end of ten days you will receive the gift of increased business, not just for that item but for your entire business.
