Abalone Shell with Sage
Sage is a purification herb sacred to
many Native American traditions. Use of this herb to cleanse a
space is called Smudging. To Smudge a room light the smudge
stick and hold over the shell. Waive the smudge stick
allowing the smoke to rise into the room. Hold the shell below the
stick to catch the falling ash. This 4-5" beautiful
Abalone shell comes with a white sage stick and instructions for smudging. This
is more than enough sage to smudge a 2000 square foot house
four or fives times.

Smudge Kit in Box
Loose white sage, lion's paw shell and instructions for smudging come in a clear, Lucite box. For a quick clearing, place a few sage leaves in the shell. Place the shell on a heat-proof surface. Light the leaves with a match or lighter. The leaves will flame then smolder and smoke. Place the plate near the center of the room and allow the smoke to rise. When the fire is out discard the ash and half burnt leaves. Retain the shell for next smudging. There is enough sage for multiple uses.

Stick , 7-8". Sage is a purification herb sacred
