translucent yellow to brown and can melt and burn. Most
are exuded from trees, especially pines and firs, when
the bark is stripped. The fluid secretion usually dries
out and hardens into a material that can be worked.
Natural resins have been used for centuries as perfumes
and medicines. Resin incense will not burn on it's own
but small amounts are placed on a lit charcoal disk
and left to smoke and smolder. All of our resins come

Charcoal, 5 Disk Pack
Charcoal disks are used to burn resin incense. Place the disk on sand or on a fire proof disk, indention side up and light the disk. The disk will sparkle for a moment when lit and become very hot. Place small bits of resin incense on the disk. When the disk is white ash and cool then discard.
